<image:title>Rhinebeck Equine LLP Testimonial - Rhinebeck Equine LLP Testimonial</image:title>
<image:caption>October 13, 2021 To Whom It May Concern, My practice, Rhinebeck Equine LLP, has been providing veterinary care for Mike Bucci’s horses for more than 15 years. He takes in unwanted horses and other animals to give them a good retirement. Some of his horses are used in a program for children with autism and developmental disabilities. His physical plant is not fancy but his animals are always well fed and cared for with love and compassion. For about 2.5-3 years (2018-2020), Mike allowed a large herd of goats to be kept at his farm. The goats were confined to a large barn and accumulated about 3 feet of manure in that space because their owner did not clean up after them. Mike took it upon himself to let the goats out of the barn everyday so they could have access to fresh air and grazing. The build up of manure and urine created an unhealthy environment that was detrimental to the goats’ health. Mike’s actions surely improved their quality of life and health. I would be happy to answer any questions or concerns that you many have about the animals that Mike has in his care. They are happy. Sincerely Nina Deibel DVM</image:caption>

<image:caption>Hudson High School Life Skills Class Testimonial To whom it may concern, It is with great pleasure that I write on behalf of the Hudson High School Life Skills Class aka The Kindness Club. The Kindness Club has been visiting Tomorrow Tomorrow Animal Sanctuary since September of 2013. What an amazing experience it has been. Our high school students have intellectual disabilities; autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy and emotional disturbances. Our visits to the sanctuary have been a one-of-a-kind opportunity for our students to learn, lead, explore, and form a natural bond with the animals that Mr. Michael Bucci cares for. Our students are fortunate to feed, groom, walk and interact with the animals. Through this partnership we have witnessed first hand what research supports. The students and horses have created an emotional and healing bond. Our students’ speech and language skills and confidence have flourished. Through our partnership, emotional bonds have been created, cognitive and language skills have developed, along with sensory and educational benefits. Mr. Bucci has been kind, patient and a gentle teacher to our most vulnerable population of students. His laughter and spirit has not only been not only welcoming but uplifting. Thanks to Mr. Bucci, our students have been given the opportunity to grow and develop. We could not have done this without his support and guidance. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. Sincerely, Lisa Schmitt</image:caption>

<image:caption>Operation Unite Educationand Cultural Arts Center Testimonial November 15, 2020 To whom it may concern, I am writing on behalf of Michael Bucci. Mr. Bucci became a community partner of Operation Unite New York over fifteen years ago. Mr. Bucci extended his service by bringing horses for our children during our Annual Black Arts and Culture Festival. For several years, these visits became a teaching moment and highlight of many children’s day. Our teenagers benefited from visits to his farm and an introduction to equestrian life and farm animals. Over the years Mr. Bucci has introduced us to professionals and fundraising opportunities that could help our organization. He continues to connect us with community partners who want to donate to youth in the community. Operation Unite is open to persons like Mr. Bucci who can connect underserved youth with experiences lacking in our under resourced community. Please feel free to contact me, if you have any further questions. Sincerely, Elena Mosley</image:caption>

<image:title>Dr. Gary Washington Testimonial - Dr. Gary Washington Testimonial Character Reference for Michael Bucci Date: November 29, 2020 I am a chemistry professor at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. I have worked at West Point for the past 26 years. In that time I have taught hundreds of cadets as we develop leaders of character who go on to serve the nation as officers in the Army. I also work as a horse trainer and communicator which was the basis for my initial meeting with Michael. Michael had a young stallion who was difficult to manage and would not accept a halter. After 3hrs of work with the stallion he was ready to accept a halter and be lead by a handler. Michael introduced me to the other animals at his farm and described how people would arrive in the dark at times and abandon the animals. Michael took good care of all the animals and insured they were well fed and treated well. I saw then as now a man of sound character who is committed to extending and enhancing the life of all animals for as long as possible. This kind of nature extended to people who after they boarded one or more horses seemed to often be unable or unwilling to pay any board at all. It seemed on several occasions that the “dead beat boarders” would take advantage of the kindness and want to direct the feeding, medical care and other business opportunities at the farm. I have always been amazed at these boarders who gave so little and received so much while complaining about everything. Michael took the high road and continued to offer essentially free board to these “deadbeat boarders” until they because a sour influence for visitors and other boarders and sometimes hurtful to the animals. Michael continues to care for the horse, goats and chickens and even brings food to the stray cats around town. It is not an exaggeration to say that Michael devotes his life to taking care of animals and people in need. I recall two programs Michael had in which he would acquire used cars that were refurbished and were offered to single mothers and the work he did with autistic children at the farm. At West Point we develop leaders of character and cadets who will chose the harder right over the easier wrong because it is the right thing to do. Michael has chosen the harder right over the easier wrong his entire life. I have always found Michael to have sound character and willingness to help people and animals. I believe we need Michael and many more like him than ever because people and animals need a place to go and feel same. Dr. Gary Washington Associate Professor of Chemistry Department of Chemistry and Life Sciences United States Military Academy gary.washington@westpoint.edu</image:title>
