Hudson High School Life Skills Class Testimonial

To whom it may concern,

It is with great pleasure that I write on behalf of the Hudson High School Life Skills Class aka The Kindness Club. The Kindness Club has been visiting Tomorrow Tomorrow Animal Sanctuary since September of 2013. What an amazing experience it has been. Our high school students have intellectual disabilities; autism, mental retardation, cerebral palsy and emotional disturbances. Our visits to the sanctuary have been a one-of-a-kind opportunity for our students to learn, lead, explore, and form a natural bond with the animals that Mr. Michael Bucci cares for. Our students are fortunate to feed, groom, walk and interact with the animals.

Through this partnership we have witnessed first hand what research supports. The students and horses have created an emotional and healing bond. Our students’ speech and language skills and confidence have flourished. Through our partnership, emotional bonds have been created, cognitive and language skills have developed, along with sensory and educational benefits.

Mr. Bucci has been kind, patient and a gentle teacher to our most vulnerable population of students. His laughter and spirit has not only been not only welcoming but uplifting. Thanks to Mr. Bucci, our students have been given the opportunity to grow and develop. We could not have done this without his support and guidance.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

Sincerely,

Lisa Schmitt
